Privacy
Sight Glass sets no cookies and runs no analytics on its pages; the only thing it records is a click on a Get the app button or on the store link that follows it, and that record is described in full below.
What these pages leave out
- Cookies, ours or anyone else's.
- Analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels and third-party scripts.
- Accounts, sign-up forms and newsletters.
- Saved quiz answers: your picks stay in the open tab, and they're gone when you reload it.
The app button and its click log
Every “Get the app” button on Sight Glass points to go.608licensetest.com, a small redirect service that belongs to this site. An iPhone or iPad is sent to the app’s App Store listing. Other devices see a short page with the store link, or are sent to the free practice test on this site.
When a button is clicked, that redirect server writes one line to a click log that the people running this site can read. The line holds:
- the page the click came from and which button it was (for example, the sidebar or the end of the page);
- the kind of device and operating system, read from the browser’s user-agent string;
- where the click was sent: the App Store, the store-link page or this site’s practice test;
- the IP address, the network it belongs to (its AS number and the organization that runs it), and the country, region, city and time zone that address maps to;
- which data center of the hosting network answered the click;
- the full user-agent string, the referring page address, and any other parameters in the link you clicked (for example, campaign tags).
The line is written on the server, after the redirect has already been answered. No cookie is set, no script runs in your browser for it, and nothing is stored on your device, so the log cannot recognize a returning visitor or follow anyone to other sites.
The pages of Sight Glass themselves carry no analytics, advertising tags or tracking pixels. The App Store and the app have their own privacy terms, set by their operators.
Two details of the click log
On a device that gets the short page with the store link, a click on that link is logged the same way as the first click.
The button tag in the link, and any campaign tags it carries, is passed on to the App Store address it sends you to.
Hosting, email and changes
The hosting network that delivers these pages handles the technical data every web request carries, such as an IP address, under its own terms. Sight Glass doesn't add anything to it.
If you write to the address on the Sight Glass contact page, your message and email address are used only to deal with what you wrote about.
When this notice changes, the new version replaces it on this page. Last revised October 7, 2026. Who runs the site is on About Sight Glass.
